SocialWatt project continues to organize webinars to discuss how energy efficiency schemes can tackle energy poverty, especially in the context of the Article 7 of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive (EED)

This second webinar will provide an overview of the Analyzer SocialWatt Tool developed for the project, present the French and Italian observatory on energy poverty along with the Belgian barometer on energy and water poverty.

The SocialWatt project is organizing a series of webinars to discuss how energy efficiency schemes can tackle energy poverty, especially in the context of the Article 7 of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive (EED)

This first webinar will provide an update about the current proposal for the EED recast, and discuss what it could change reminding what can be learnt from the available experience in this field.

Learn more about SocialWatt Analyser, an innovative decision support tool developed within the framework of the project, that helps energy companies identify energy poor customers. This latest brief explains how the tool works and presents key outputs from its' use by energy companies across Europe.

The national training workshop in Austria will take place in the form of a Webinar Series over 4 weeks. The webinars will take place every Thursday at 9:00 to 10:30 CET. Each webinar is dedicated to a specific topic (framework conditions, EU projects, programmes and projects in Austria, discussion round). The language of the webinars is German. Registration is possible.

The second SocialWatt capacity building workshop on alleviating energy poverty was successfully organised virtually on the 24th of August 2020 and on the 15th of October 2020.

The first part of the workshop (24th of August 2020) focused on how to best engage with energy poverty households. The presentations are available to download below.
